Oh, you guys. He was only 53 years old. My heart goes out to his family. That is way too young to lose your dad.

So so so sad. I saw it on the news sites online and gasped a little and instantly thought of you. Poor guy, it was way too young, his poor family!

It is a sad but not completely unexpected outcome. How terrible for those left behind to mourn. When ever someone as vital as Captain Harris suffers such a life-changing event I cannot help feeling a certain relief when it isn't necessary for them to linger through years of suffering. His quality of life was never going to recover...and for such a man as he? that wasn't going to be how he'd want to continue.

My heart goes out to his family and those who loved him in his extended family. For them the pain is only beginning.
