Further proof that RPS is bad for your (mental) health.

OH EM GEE.

Dear Harris Family,

Please stop breaking my heart and stuff.

Love, Me

Christ, you guys. Phil had a stroke. Spoilers for next season in that link, I suppose, since it happened during Opi season so I'm sure we will get to see it play out in dramatic detail on our screens this summer. Good Lord, my heart cannot take much more of ( Read more... )

A life time of bad food and cigarettes and not enough sleep coupled with insane amounts of stress...it's no wonder the poor man has had problems now that he's getting a little older. I wondered about something like this last year when he had the embolism. Poor family.

No one has heard from Jake's dad yet? Wasn't there some sort of rumor that he'd just left of his own accord? If that were the case one would assume someone had seen him by now.

It must compound the agony for both families to have the drama played out on TV for all the world to see and comment on. Sad.

I know, I'm still surprised that Phil didn't drop dead in season 4, to be honest.

There was a rumor that Jake's dad was hiding out in Seattle somewhere, yes. The family seems to be 'officially' still looking for him, but there's not much from the Northwestern press machine, so who knows what's going on. If he is just having a nervous breakdown somewhere, he completely sucks for not telling his wife he's alive.

Again, I say: Those poor boys. I can only imagine the worry they're all three of them carrying around.

I read they found his truck stuck somewhere remote with the keys still inside, but that's all...With adults police (from professional experience) tend to go with the theory that they left on their own unless there's evidence to show otherwise. That being said, it's very VERY hard to disappear without some sort of evidence (ie pulling out major amounts of money).

Yeah, from the little I could glean of the unsubstantiated rumor that has since disappeared from the internet, family seemed to think there was a specific person in Seattle he was hiding out with. Still, it's all conjecture until something conclusive turns up. What a bizarre situation, truly. Poor Jake. So sensitive already.

Crap. I absolutely love the boys on both the CM and NW, but I don't know if I can watch a season with this much bad news. *pets everyone*

(((HUGS))) this is the problem with caring about real people via a tv show. It hurts more when the bad stuff happens because it's real.

Dear Christ that man needs a break. First he almost dies from a blood clot and now this? Phil give the damned boat to Jake and retire! Also, show stop fucking with Caroline's emotions...NOW!
