I don't even know where this came from. Which is nice, when it happens, so I went with it.

Caroline... Okay. I admit I am a little emotional right now, but this was seriously the sweetest thing you could do for me. It was a fantastic fic (which I will tell you why in a moment) but just the fact that you wrote it made me smile (and um.. tear up. Emotional! I TELL YOU!) You are my favorite as well, I am really thankful you are in my life.

And the fic! OMG. Jack putting up with Wendell's crazy family and them not knowing what to do with his life (hi Wendell, I am right there with you) and then having him want to run it by Jack. That last bit? Oh holy hell. Because they are so already married and just don't know it yet. And then Jack and the bit about being lucky and saying I LOVE YOU. Gah. ♥

Thank you so so much, Caroline.

Aw, baby, you deserve for people to do nice things for you. I'm sorry about the tears, but I'm really glad you enjoyed this. Truth be told, I have not been writing in this family because I was feeling sort of pouty and down about lurkers in this fandom, such as it is, but I really do keep coming back to them because I just love collaborating with you. You make it so fun to universe-build in little snippets, and it's totally worth it even if I am always going to be one of those writers who comes off as intimidating or whatever.

I hope I didn't go overboard with the family craziness. And I couldn't remember if we ever decided on a number of siblings, but then I was like, just write, stupid. So I did, and I'm glad you liked it. ♥

You definitely didn't go overboard, I loved it. I think they mentioned in the show at some point how many siblings he had but ummm. I forgot. Or I made it up. Either is pretty possible at this point.

I went through a long fandom lull and then kind of a fandom meh but creating worlds has made me totally change my tune. I agree with you about breaking up with Bones. It just doesn't do much for me anymore, but I love this little part of their universe. It is fun, and simple, and obviously going to be KILLED by fandon really soon but its ours. And that makes it awesome. :)

Oh my God, my typing skills have gone to hell this week. I actually typed "I have not been writing in this family"? Oh, :headdesk: isn't strong enough for me.

Anyway! We can check canon for a sibling count this summer when we force the girls to watch all the Wendell episodes. Maybe if I make cake no one will complain ;)

Hee! I was afraid the whole time that I was making them sound really Italian, but then I was just like, 'Whatever, Caroline, get over it. They sound loud, that's the point.' And in retrospect, I'm happy with it, so I'm glad you are too.

Funny, I thought Jewish; cause that's my family to a T. Oh wait, I'm Jewish and the Italian is married in so family dinners can get loud and louder.

Heh. Depends on our frame of reference, I suppose. I don't even know what nationality he's supposed to be, but it works for south Boston too, I think. We'll just call it 'working class' and be done with it.
