Okay, so here's the thing with me and birthday fic. I used to write a lot more of it, because I had a much smaller friends list and it was a lot more manageable. But then my friends list grew, and it didn't seem fair only to write it when I got around to it. And then I stopped writing fic at all for the most part. So nowadays I only write ( Read more... )

Hee! Thanks. And I can visualize the little hearts since I just saw you yesterday! I am still kind of riding the giddy high of Legally Blonde (Elle/Emmett OTP!), so that might be where some of the schmoopiness came from.

I totally had that thought as I was writing this. But I'm lazy, so I'm not making any promises. If I can pull it off without getting totally gross with the schmoopiness, I will do it. I do enjoy a good wedding fic, after all.

You are a wonderful person; no matter WHAT those other people say! This was my second favorite birthday present! (First being my signed adoption papers!) I can certainly feel their angst! And Nick and Greg!! A continuation of "All the Way to Paris!!! And criminal abuse of the exclamation point!!!!!!

I'm content. I need nothing more. Thank you.

Heh. I am tempted to ask what you've heard, but I really don't want to know. Anyway, it's all about you today, so I'm glad you're happy! And I'd say your signed adoption papers are a pretty amazing birthday gift. Happy birthday, sweetie. I hope you are celebrating with that adorable family of yours.

Funnily enough in a fit of fannish nostalgia I reread All the Way to Paris over the last few days. (Mostly just before bed which is why it was spread out.) And... *sigh* Nick and Greg and a kid. :) A kid named Benjiman which, by the by, is one of my favorite boy names ever. (I sit in sadness of having a last name with a J so I will never name my kid Benjiman. *sigh*) But ... *sigh*.

I am in a happy place. :D

Don't worry, we had been talking about Benjamin J for the longest time until my mom, lovingly, said, "And you could call him BJ." and I blinked and went... Oh no. Oh no.

Also, as you said to Ruth, this icon is my oldest icon, by far, but omg do I love this icon. I have had it probably 4 years. :D
