I used to write in first person all the time. Then I just switched one day and now I can't do it at all anymore. That's why I never finished that one Forsaken series. Sad but true. Though going back and uploading old fic is making me cringe. It's kind of horrible, actually.

I realized after I answered your comment that this had actually posted to people's friends lists. So yes, it's a very, very old fic, hence the first person. In case you were confused as to why I was talking about old fic.

I have considered erasing the old stuff from both my memory and the internet, but really, what's the point? So I just try not to read too much while I upload it now.

I like REM okay. Sometimes Michael Stipe makes me tired, but I enjoy his music. I was anti-REM in college because they were just so big, but then I grew up and got over myself. Good music is good music.

Yeah, this is part of a series (hence the title), which is so ancient I'm fairly sure it predates LJ. Way back in the day when I wrote in first person. I cringe a little whenever I look at the old stuff.
