Fic (Forsaken, Nick/Sean, PG)

Dec 05, 2007 09:42

Today's fic was written for writingpathways. I was going to write her something else in a fandom I've never attempted before, but then I chickened out and wrote this instead. Well. Also this is what today's song inspired, but it is sort of a comfort zone, so. Anyway, I wrote it for Rachel, and then I made her beta it, because that's the kind of lame I am. But ( Read more... )

Another fandom I know nothing about and feel myself getting sucked into.

If it wasn't the Christmas season I might be tempted to burn a doll in effigy.

You crack me up. This particular fandom is based on a bad vampire movie, but it stars Kerr Smith and Brendan Fehr, and it is my mission in life to slash as many permutations of Kerr as I can think of. Serves him right.

At least I'm amusing.

And, at least he's pretty!

Eee! Ooh the new ending is awesome, and again I really love this story. it's just beautiful and so Nick, and so Sean and so Nick/Sean. And now they'll live happily ever after, arguing over milk and Nick calling Sean Baby :-) YAY!

To make up for the fact that I made you beta your own fic, some comment fic just for you:

"Baby, did you pick up milk?" Nick called from his spot in front of the open fridge. There was a carton on the top shelf, but it was empty. Which was pretty much standard around their place, because neither of them had worried about things like groceries for a long time, and now that things were back to normal -- more or less, anyway -- they hadn't quite gotten back into a routine yet.

He heard footsteps behind him and looked up in time to watch Sean walk into the kitchen. "I forgot. And you know, I'm the one who works all day. Would it kill you to go to the store?"

"Hey, I work. Starting tomorrow, anyway."

Nick shut the fridge while his news sank in, turning to lean against the counter while he watched Sean's expression shift from annoyed to confused to surprised.

"Don't look so shocked."

"I'm not...I mean, I didn't really think you were looking."

And that was the crazy thing about Sean; he probably minded that Nick wasn't pulling ( ... )

Eee! You keep making me eee today, hee. comment fic! Yay. That was awesome! Sean/Nick being all domestic in their domestic-ee way.

And I was looking forward to the new ending because I was pretty sure that you would figure out the pitch perfect way to fix it and you did!

Thank you!

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! I do love them being stupid boys together. And I love how Nick loves Sean despite his neuroses, and how Sean loves Nick enough to support him. Because you know he totally would. He'd bitch about it to his sister but never to Nick, because he'd be too scared Nick would leave.

Isn't it? She's so great. It's not often that modern blues singers do much for me, so I was excited to have found her.

You know, I still have actually never seen this movie. I fell asleep when we watched it on the Florida trip. And yet I love them so. This was awesomecakes. And it just seems so perfect for the characters, and yeah. Awesome!

(Also! I am the biggest moron ever. The school DID NOT GIVE ME any 4x5 pictures. I hope the Michael's in Louisville will let me exchange them.)

5x7s, you mean? Michael's will let you exchange them, they don't care which store you bought them from.

Forsaken is a pretty okay movie. Okay, I am blinded by the blatant slashiness and it actually sort of sucks. But there are canon pet names and obvious boyfriend-ness, and it spawned some hilarious RPS written by yours truly, so it's worth it. I'll make you watch it next time I see you.

I bought 4x5 frames because I thought that's what I had to give to The Parents. The 5x7 is for my grandmother. Thanks for the info about Michael's.

I luff your hilarious RPS. And I'll be looking forward to watching it. :)

Oh. Yeah, 4x5 is a pretty weird size. I misunderstood at the store. Too bad, they were nice frames.
