Oh that was awesome! All hot and sticky, but in the best possible way, with that dash of bittersweetness I always love too. But made better since I know Seamus does go back to Hogwarts, heh.
And you are a bit crazy to plunge into HP fandom right now, but I'm sure you'll be safe.
Thanks. I was actually thinking about our conversation while I was writing this, about how I have been feeling like my writing has gotten lazy and all, and I thought maybe trying a new fandom would help with that. It sort of did, but the (lack of) response to this story has been pretty discouraging, so I don't imagine there will be more. It is probably lame of me to say out loud (because even though we all think it, we're not supposed to say it) but all my fic posts have been pretty lackluster for a long time, and when even the people who used to say 'oh, I'll read anything you write' quit putting in the effort, it starts to feel like you're wasting everyone's time.
Forgive me, I'm feeling kind of maudlin tonight. Work is bad and writing is worse and wasting my time with fan fiction isn't doing anyone any good. Woe is me and all that. Anyway, thanks for reading.
Thanks. I am not feeling that good about it, but that's probably hormonal. I'm going to have to set up an original writing schedule for myself this weekend and leave the fanfic for awhile.
Hi, I'm Fen & I found your fic on mistful's flist. Loved it, so it clearly deserves a comment ;)
God, the last Seamus fic I read was Lucky Charms at Schnoogle & that hasn't been updated in years! This is wonderfully gripping while still being IC, Seamus with that irresistible sexual fury thing & Dean with his soft-spoken devotion... It's so painfully tender & just FACT. I can really see there being a whole universe for this...Actually, there needs to be one - nothing this RIGHT deserves to be a one-off!!!
Thanks for the great read, fandom needs something to take the edge off at the mo'.
Well thank you, I appreciate your reading and letting me know : ) I wish there was more Dean/Seamus fic out there, but then I am a rareslash kind of girl, so that's probably why they appeal to me.
There aren't enough Deamus fics from Dean's perspective, to my mind, and this little interlude just goes to show how they are so attuned to each other and each other's needs. Lovely, really.

I'm not sure I *could* write from Seamus' perspective, but maybe I'll try someday. Thanks for reading.
