And do you know how long I've been trying to figure out how to get Harlan to say 'I love you' and still have it be in character? Obviously it had to be Harlan who said it, but yes. That was a challenge. I'm just glad someone besides me liked that part, because it makes me swoony thinking about it.
Also, now that this is all over except the coda (and the one-shots I might write in this universe from time to time in future) I am ready to talk about our joint project. If you've been having ideas, let me know. E-mail or IM or whatever, I'll make myself available in between freaking out about school and driving back and forth from work. Speaking of which, I better go or I'll be late. Again.
But before I go, thanks for all the encouragement. It means a lot. A lot a lot.

What, you mean the way it started as a pwp, and now has no sex whatsoever? *ducks*
*sighs* You made me all misty-eyed at work. DUDE. I have no words. Ilove it. Love love love. *twirls* *hugs* I have no other words.

As soon as the words leave his mouth Marcus looks up, eyes wide with something almost like fear. But when he answers his voice is soft, almost sad and all Harlan's anger just drains away.
"I never wanted you to beg," Marcus answers with a self-conscious little laugh. Hee. I love that part. Especially Marcus reaction. I love the whole thing, and how finally the miscommunication fades away and they end up on the same page, and will soon be living together after all those years apart ( ... )

I'm also glad you thought the ending worked, even though I am still freaked out about it and feel like people are humoring me. I hate that. But I'm sure I'll get over it soon. Not like I have time to worry about it for the next two weeks anyway. Far too busy.
I'll answer your e-mail about the novel later. Most of those changes are already in the plans, though, yes. In fact, that Miguel/Gabriel business is the main thing that's wrong with it.

I figured you knew everything I babbled about in the email, but enjoyed rereading everything so much I had to babble.
