Lots of new books arrived yesterday/today

The Guides of the Chalet School by Jane Berry (GGBP)
The Chalet Girls' Cook Book by EBD (GGBP)
Pirouette by Susan Scarlett (Noel Streatfeild) (Greyladies)

Two major decisions needed:-

1) What do I read first
2) How/where do I shelve the cook book seeing as it's landscape rather than portrait shaped.

1) I would read Guides of first. No specific reason! I would be very torn between it and Pirouette though.

2) I had the same problem with my newsletters book - it just doesn't quite fit!

In the end I read Pirouette first then Guides. I've read the intro and notes bits of the cook book. I don't think I'll be using it this Christmas - I'll stick to Nigella and Delia!
