Luke is getting on mah nerves, the next time he goes searching for some nookie, Noah should tell him to piss off. Maybe that'll get Luke moving in the right direction.

aw, Emo-Luke is confused! He wants to do the right thing, he just isn't quite clear on what's right yet. But he'll get there! Just like how "it's always darkest right before dawn"... it's always angstiest right before fluff! Both boys have to stop being stupid at some point, I promise :)

It’s very amusing how Luke can’t stop thinking about Noah… Noah keeps popping into his thoughts at the oddest of moments… really cute…

He leveled a mostly mature and calm gaze at Luke, who was sitting at the counter with wide, troubled eyes, having overheard everything. “Luke,” he said steadily, following it up with the one thing he’d been trying to tell Luke for the past two years- “Do something.”

Yep! Luke has, like, two brains that work at one time. A smart one and a Lukeish one ;) His Lukeish one has to start listening to his smart one. Most especially where Noah's concerned.

Speaking of 'fun to write'... there's Casey. Never not fun. He's this big frat boy teddy bear best bro to have in your corner. I love him too :)

"There is no you to avoid. OK? No "us". There's nothing here. I was wrong, ok? This isn't my life. It's a mistake. That's all it can be." Man, Luke, that was heartbreaking. Noah tells him what he wanted to hear (I fucking want this, Luke) then Luke cuts him low. Made me think of that awful part of the show when Luke told Noah they weren't right for each other. Luke lashing out, hurting Noah and refusing to accept his true feelings, that he truly loves him. On to read the next chapters. Great story!!!!

That's kinda exactly the mood/hurt I was going for with that, sadly! Luke does tend to lash out when he's feeling overwhelmed, just like Noah tends to duck and cover. Which, in a way, is the best/worst way to hurt the other. But they also know how to make it up to each other, which (I promise) is coming soon! Thank you!
