So, I had my surgery a week ago tomorrow. The surgery itself went well, I'm told. I was out from the second after the lady said "Ok, time to go to sleep" until an hour later when I woke up in an eerily similar room (except that it had no window) in excruciating pain. Thankfully, hospitals carry demoral (sp?) for just such an occasion. Turns out

dan and i are coming back to MI on the 23rd. we're thinking about going to the motor city bowl to watch central play on the 26th. but other than that we're free until we find jobs (which god willing we will find)

well dan will be graduating in december, he's officially done with school next week. and i am taking an indefinite break from school. realized that school psych isn't what i want to do for the rest of my life and dropped out of the program. plus i worked so hard getting into grad school that now i'm burned out on school, so we're looking for real jobs, well as real as they can be in michigan anyway. we're going to live in my dad's basement for a while and then either get a cheap apartment somewhere or maybe buy a HUD house and fix it up.
