You truly are an animal-friend. You remind me of my godfather who used to keep several wild birds around his "balcony" (is this still the right word if he lived on the ground floor?). He would talk to them and feed them and they wouldn't budge at all when he walked around them. (On a sad note he loved animals so much and always had cats, he had three cats when his building changed their pet rules and made him put them all down, and after that he's never recovered/been truly happy again :(. Ehh sorry for unloading that on you, but I imagine you're someone who would truly understand this, and not all do.)
On a more positive note, I currently have a little porkypine family living my backyard. My mom puts out water and watered down catfood, and they don't mind me getting really close. I would love to share a picture with you, but I don't have anywhere to upload them. Sad note again, last year there was a different family living here, and the mother and two children were runover right down the street from my house
Thank you so much for sharing this with us sweetie, it has made my day (and I know I'm far from the only one). *huge, huge hugs & endless love* : ) ♥ A HUGE congratulations on the birth of your new friend, I know he'll be very happy to have such a kind and caring neighbor look out for him and his family. : ) ♥
I am not at all surprised to hear that wild animals feel this comfortable around you though, hun. Like Momma, you have a glow that just radiates from you whether you realize it or not, I hope you do. *huge, huge, huge hugs & endless love* : ) ♥
