The chilly white powder poured from the sky eagerly, coating the cars in the apartment parking lot with a finely woven blanket, and clumping all up around the rail bars of the upper floor walkways. Byakuran was dressed in all white, with a pair of ear muffs, heavy boots, and a long fancy jacket. With eyes shut, against the endless white backdrop, he almost blended in. Perhaps the only real color was the tattoo on his left cheek; The only sign of life the steady gush of breath coming from parted smiling lips.

With his ivory colored mittens, he reached out and knocked on the door of the apartment whose number he had memorized.

The knock jarred him from his comfortable position, green eyes wide as he stared uncertainly at the door.

"... ..Misa-nee? Is that you? I thought you said you weren't coming home tonight," he hissed, frowning before bundling himself up against the cold and edging towards the door. Long fingers moved quickly against the locks and bolts, swinging open the door to continue to scold his sibling. "Geez, you could have ca--... ?"

White. He blinked, the outline of a figure slowly coming into focus through the flakes. White hair, white clothes, white skin--

"B...

..Byakuran-san..?"

Immediately he stuck his foot forward, an instinctive motion in anticipation of any attempts to slam the door in his face.

"S-Shou-chaaan~~~ I made it~! Let me in, please~? I'm freezing~!"

Two blurry, pleased bundles of indigo floating at eye level proved he was looking properly at the redhead, arms holding his clothing tight around his body. Suspiciously enough, he also had a white canvas on one shoulder, filled with boxes...

"What are you doing here?!"

He was tempted to slam the door shut on the foot tracking snow into his tiny foyer, like some pristine disease. His brow furrowed, teeth setting into a grimace as the cold wind blew in more snowflakes. "I told you not to come, didn't I?! Go back home!!"
