He remembered the sun. He remembered the sweat, and the heat and the other boys shuffling around him. He remembered the anticipation that had kept him up the night before.
And then he remembered light.
It hadn't been like anything he'd ever seen before. This light had been cool on his face, an all-encompassing white. He'd squinted, trying to keep his eyes open, but beneath the force of it's glare was unable. His hands had gone up to shield his face, and he had braced, half-expecting some hidden attack. Perhaps this was one of Kadar's games, or a punishment from the master. Altair did not know for sure; could not know, and now there was no chance to ask.
He would not remember falling asleep. Nor would he remember whatever strange journey had caused him to find himself lying in an expansive field of grass, laying on his side with his hands balled up in lose fists and his knees pulled in towards his chest, his hood shadowing his face. Small tufts of golden brown hair poked out from beneath his hood, lips parted as a soft, peaceful sigh escaped the boy.
Too bad it was a peace that would not last.
[[ooc; He can be in like. A park. Or the Namimori school field if TYL!Moto is feeling nostalgic or something. Put him wherever you'd like so long as it's got grass. XD <3 Also sorry it's so damn short. It was a hell of a lot longer but then I really hated it and I decided to just leave him passed out and that literally killed 3/4's of what I'd written. 8D Also I have decided Alty does not have his scar yet. Because I think it'll be cute.]]
