This was very clever. I feel like both characters were very true in their characterizations, and I found their interactions very plausible. But my favorite part was Batman seeing a bat in Rorschach's mask. That was brilliant.

this was awesome.
for such a short and abbreviated story, you kept them both very much in character. the way they reacted to eachother was very believable.
personally, i think Bats might've had a harder time with getting the "mask" off Rorschach, but i think it worked for the plot.

and the ending just plain kicked ass. i like your implication that they're evenly matched.

As for the ending, I couldn't decide how to have them split over "creative differences" without giving one side too much favouritism, so I'm happy to hear that the ending works. =)
