Where the hell did my weekend go?

I think work is less tiring...

Resolution 1:  Carmexboy is never, ever, ever allowed to go out with Y again.  Even though M and R accompanied him, Y was the overbearing influence.

It was supposed to be a few quiet drinks, nothing more.  I was having the night in m my friend K - we watched a film, drank some wine, got a little tipsy and ate junk.. ( Read more... )

stupid boys and their drinking. And stupid children and their being children. I hope things get better for you now that carmexboy is not longer drunk or hung over and there isn't a sniveling little girl about.

Oh, I am so looking forward to my bed I can't tell you! No more drinking, no more random children to look after... just wonderful, all-encompassing sleep. Ahh bliss!

My drama department was having a picnic and this little girl came over and started playing with us, no sign of her parents, no concern. About fifteen minutes later, her dad shows up and is all, "Oh, yeah, she just likes to wander off and meet new people. We let her. If you get tired of her, we're way over there where we look like ants." And she did. She wandered the entire time until her dad told her it was time to go.

People should really evaluate things before they have kids...

Hee, work DOES sound more relaxing after a weekend like that, doesn't it?

God, I don't know why some people are parents at all--if you're not even going to notice when your kids go missing, what exactly is your job again?

I know - I mean, I didn't expect to be showered with thanks or anything, but the fact that they seemed like they really couldn't give a shit, and anything could have happened to her... urgh it just really annoys me!
