Just a quick update, guys. The wireless internet in my dorm is HORRIBLE so I don't know how often I'll get a chance to make a post or even check my f-list. I'm SO sorry! Things have finally settled down after the moving in so I've started working on some icons, wallpapers and the Bollywood Movie Picspam. I'll try to get the picspam up tomorrow

Just talk to your mom/family every once in a while, maybe once or twice a day then slowly cut back and it might make you less homesick.

I know what you mean. I feel so guilty and quite disconnected when I'm way from the net and in particular, LJ. I'm very much behind on my own posts & replies but it's just real life, it gets in the way. Though it does so for all of us so we totally understand!

Once things get going and you are busy with classes it shouldn't be so bad.

wireless internet in my dorm is HORRIBLE the year I lived in res we only had dial-up!! (that seems so stone age ... wait that was 7 years ago... um, now I feel old...) Our wireless at the Centre has this strange quirk whereby I have to refresh a million times on the university homepage before it will give me the sign on page... (you'd think universities could figure these things out!)
