I love SHINee to pieces but it's nice to have a new group I can fangirl over without feeling guilty. SMASH you are my saviors! And one of the best things about them is that their ages range from 27 to 16 so there's someone for everyone to love :D
First I must admit that I checked out this group solely because they're from TN Entertainment and I think Tony has incredible taste in picking new talent. (Like the only ballad singer I've ever cried watching perform, Evan. He seriously needs to come back soon). Anyways, once again I was not disappointed by Tony.

Before I start with the members let me just take a moment to apologize for my overwhelming bias towards World. I know I should be more neutral in a post about the whole group but I really can't help it. You have NO idea how ecstatic I was when I found out that he was 27 years old. Someone actually older than me! And yet he blends in perfectly with the other guys. Ah, sorry this was suppose to be my apology and I've started fangirling already. So, the members will be in reverse age order so my World fangirling can be saved for last.
Hero (Kim Min Soo)
The Cute Magnae
Age 16 (October 12, 1991)
I don't really have much to say about him except wow, he looks only twelve.
Han Bang (Han Jung Soo)
The Lead Vocal
Age 19 (January 26, 1989)
His voice is really impressive and deserving of lead vocal! And is it just me or does he look a lot like Kusano (formerly of NEWS)?
Naru (Joo Young Suk)
The Ageo King
Age 19 (October 7, 1988)
He's very adorable. I just wish he would get rid of those highlights and cut his hair. He looked so much better in his pre-debut pics.
Jerry (Shim Min Kyu)
The Pretty Rapper
Age 20 (May 13, 1988)
Now before anyone cries, "Heechul Wanna-be". Let's take a moment to appreciate how much better his hair looks than that crazy curled mess Heechul sported in "Knock Out". I love Heechul to death but I still can't watch that video without cringing every time he comes on screen. Anyways, back to Jerry. His rapping skills are really good but it's his flawless English that really impressed me. I could actually understand what he was saying! And luckily, he recently cut his hair ... and now looks even more like a girl.
Cheon Woo (Lee Jin Yong)
The Charismatic Goofball
Age 23 (March 16, 1985)
He's the same age as me! Whaa-hooooo!!! And he's got a gorgeous deep voice that makes me melt. He's good at being charismatic and serious (and showing off his sexy body) but it's his warm smile and innocent eyes that really did me in. Don't you just want to take him home and cuddle with him? He's like a big puppy. And he's the mommy of the group who does most of the cooking and cleaning
World (Nam Hyun Joong)
The Sexy Leader
Age 27 (November 19, 1980)
And let the fangirling begin...Ahhhhh. He's so sexy and handsome! He freaking oozes charisma but looks like a little child when he smiles. Looks at that little dimple! (and only on one side like Eeteuk). The dimples were the final straw for me. But I'll pull myself together to talk about what an amazing dancer and singer he is. Really, what can't he do?
He use to be in a group called D.Bace and thanks to awesome fangirls we have pictures of baby!HyunJoong.
He's got arms guns of sexy which were beautifully showcased in their music video. Thank you wonderful cameraman for understanding my need for close-up arm shots. ilu ♥
But it's his adorable smile that will steal your heart and run away with it.
And lest we forget that he is a man, you stick him in a group of older guys and he fits in there too. He's a freaking chameleon
Finally, the picture that cemented his place in my heart.
OMG. How cute is that? It's like he's being pimped by Tony & Hyesung. I've submitted guys, I've submitted.
