There were menus with no, not a one, veggie dish on. Montgomery isn't exactly the big city and it is cattle country but it just seemed a little strange. I earned myself a very strange look for the 'Fajitas, no meat' request :-)

Hello you!

I think the Texan idea of vegetarian means eating fish. There was lots of fish. And meat. There was, of course, the pancake option, but that way madness (or at least an even bigger waistline) lay.
