Like a post whose subject says exactly what it will be about, the movie 9 was a bit of a disappointment.  I shouldn't be surprised - the reviews are kinda negative, and I'm half interested because of the song they used in the trailer.  Still, it could have been so much better.  For one thing, it could have had a real ending.  And I'm not implying

Why is it that bad reviews for movies just make me curious about movies I never would have been interested in seeing otherwise? I'm hoping I can erase this from my mind, so I don't bother wasting my time...

In a way, I know what you mean. But it's not terrible, just doesn't live up to its potential. So maybe see it after it's been out a few weeks and gets cheap - or better yet, get it on Netflix.
