Ok, it's not so much musing as it is I realized I neglected to mention Mamma Mia over the last week. I saw it Friday last, and it was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful. Whether or not you like ABBA you should give this a shot.

And now the real musing. That all-encompasing "they" is said to be remaking Bill and Ted. Let me say that again. ( Read more... )

The problem really is where the movie industry is at the moment. Current digital distribution and budgets that include marketing that is out of this world, it is imperative to have "A DARK KNIGHT WEEKEND OPENING" of epic proportions just to start making the money back before they get pushed aside by the next movie the very next weekend who has pushed the marketing to the limit for "A DARK KNIGHT WEEKEND OPENING" of epic proportions ( ... )

Mamma Mia was so much fun! I have added it to the list of movies I need to own, if only for the clip at the very end ;P

I have the soundtrack, if you'd like it, let me know =)

I have the play soundtrack, but not the movie one (well, and also ABBA Gold >.>) - I actually think I'd like to have the movie soundtrack because the London cast recording I have is very... polished. Less silly than the production I saw in Seattle, which was my only complaint.
