Well hello there dear flisty - missed me? Been a long time but I have somehow been drawn back into the LJ world, hopefully to stay. Blame Torchwood, it was enough of a hook to draw me back into to fandom properly. Even if I still feel like Fandom's Flaky Aunty who just pops by for the odd family occasion. :P

LOL. That took massive amounts of self discipline. I kept wanting to babble incoherantly about things but that is what I have a personal, paper journal for I suppose.

See, whilst I am not a lightweight, I had never had a hangover until this year. I also hadn't drank four pints of various cocktails in two hours whilst just sitting chatting. Not a pretty Sunday morning.

Yep, bought myself a brand new laptop which I am currently using. All my friends from halls were fantastic and rallied round to raise some money to help towards it since the insurance wouldn't pay out. It wasn't stolen from my room but from the hall library. Obviously had to come to a compromise with said friends since I couldn't accept such a gift so finally agreed on 50/50 with the other half going to the flat kitty next year.

(Related note: Just watched one of my videos taped off the TV. Lol @ the adverts!...it wasn't just a tape full of ads, btw. That's be really weird! lol :/)

Hehe, I totally relate to the awkwardness. I always used to feel paranoid about commenting. Good for you for overcoming it!

As for the ads, you never know, they make whole TV shows out of them so it isn't that weird when you think about it.
