That's really beautiful. And so *possible* that it really deserves a whole fleshed out fic. But if you necer do it, this will be a lovely could have been. You give good word.

That's been the problem with all my BtVS/Firefly crossovers; I just want an image, but I feel compelled to do backstory so they really deserve to be grown-up stories. *hugs* Thank you so much! I'm thrilled that you liked it, and your feedback always means so much to me because you're . . . you.

Oh, wow. This is incredibly beautiful! I love Faith's perspective on River. Thin as a winter wind, she looked a little like Dawnie, except for those spooked eyes... all great imagery.

And the last few lines just broke my heart. I love this! *adds to memories*

okay, i have not read *any* fic in a long time, but because this is faith, and because this is river, i HAD to read it. and. dude. the goosebumps are still here! i love love love. it's haunting and wonderful and i love your faith!voice.

Oh, yay! I'm so giddy that I dragged you back into fic, and so pleased that you enjoyed your visit!

And I'll see about a sequel/expansion; I have, like, three BtVS/Firefly stories I'm working on, and two of them are sequels.
