This was fabulous. From the opening image, I was sure this was going to be super-intense, but then you immediately started including all sorts of fun, realistic, cute banter and scoobie interactions and Angel being flirty before they went to check Giles place! And still there was some pretty cool intense stuff, and it was a very creative plot line. And the Buffy almost feeling bad about beating up on the monks made me giggle.
And you ended with a Giles-life-lesson talk, which is awesome.

Oh, yay, I can't tell you how happy I am you enjoyed this. I was kind of worried, when I was writing this for nameless CYA requester who I totally didn't know was you, that they'd be unhappy because I made the Giles-gets-kidnapped request kind of secondary and almost . . . comedic. But that's just how my ficbrain worked this one; it turned into Buffy/Angel loveangstsexmagic fest instead, hee. So I'm so happy that you're happy . . . to the point of being rambly and inarticulate in my reply.

Also you had started with some fantastic imagery, all sensual and image-y, then we move on to a PERFECT S2 Buffy then Buffy/Scoob love! B/A was so perfect. I think we all forget how young Buffy is, and I guess Angel does sometimes too. But then the exchange on the beach was just so great and heartbreaking all at the same time. You really show that connection they have, that they really seem to just open up to each other spontaneously and that's part of the reason why they just *work*.
Oh and I suppose the Buffy "raping" Angel scene was supposed to be disturbing, but um, I have a dom!Buffy kink, so it was totally hot *WEG*.
It was odd though, even though in the first few dreams, Angel wasn't in them at all, but I couldn't help feeling as if his eyes were on her somehow, or maybe it was the fact that it was Angel's eyes, and his eyes only that she WANTED to be on her.
And to finish it off, squee! Cute Buffy/Giles time!
