Gah, I'm really considering buying one of those cheap makeup palettes off of ebay. I know the quality isn't going to be that great, but I don't wear much makeup and don't have the money to buy like 20 different colors

my friend got one, they are dissapointing.
why not just start your collection off slowly with simply colors you like, then move on?

I think my biggest problem is that when I walk by the MAC counter I get really.. intimidated? And I feel ugly because I'm usually not wearing makeup! So I'm just scared to start, I guess. Do you think makeup quality would be a very big issue for someone like me who doesn't know much about it, as in, would it be better if I went to MAC and started off there or just bought some eyeshadows from walmart?

I have some MAC eyeshadows, I don't like them. They don't apply really well, and they crease! =/ However, I got a hot pink one at Biotherm and it's great! Not because it's pink, but it applies on quickly and it doesn't crease. Price-wise it's not too much.

MAC - $15 + tax
Biotherm - $18 + tax

Now, even better is Lancome or mmmm Christian Dior, but they go up to $20-22 for one. But you can also get those double or triple pallets too.

Oh and yes, you should get a good brush! I have one from MAC - $29 O__O; Yeah it was really expensive but it makes putting make up a snap. And it's so soft. :)

WARNING: DON'T BUY CHEAP MAKEUP! Like from drug store, it powders and hurts your eyes. >_>;
