After what was an embarrassing performance against Adelaide earlier in the home and away season, Carlton had a second shot to redeem themselves. embarrasing really, but then again, Brisbane could just be better than Essendon

I'm half convinced that the Dons would have beaten us. This way, I can pretend it was all part of our elaborate plan to send Essendon to Adelaide! Haha.

same, we seem to have some sort of curse against Essendon, while at least we have had the wood on Brisbane the last few times!

Before the last 2 years, we had the wood on Essendon. When we were down, we beat them for two years straight despite their greater success. Stopped them from getting into a couple of finals. Funny that!
