Hard Candy is a terrific film. The story of a pedophile's meeting with a 14-year-old girl begins predictably enough, but soon gets turned on it's ear when it's revealed that neither may be what they seem. Just got The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. from Netflix. Damn, I forgot how much I loved that show.

Immortal Dialogue:

Daisy (trying to seduce Brisco): You like the bed? It's French.
Brisco: Louis the Fourteenth?
Daisy: No, I think Louis was the ninth or tenth...

It's about the conspiracy theories, becasue they irk me, and seem to be getting more mainstream.

The best cover song I've heard all year. A (very white) band called "Obadiah Parker" breaking down Outkast's "Hey Ya," acoustic-style. No funning, though, it's actually an amazingly good song. The downbeat guitar even fits nicely with the surprisingly bleak lyrics in the beginning.
