I am planning my trip to Europe - as we always do in summer, we are going to visit I consider Austria or Germany or any European country. (we are always travelling to Europe with my family- my Mum and any other relkatieves or family friends) But I wanted very much certainly Wien or Germany. Sadly, I don't think I can help you much. I know Switzerland very well but I have never been to Austria and only been to Germany on day trips from either Switzerland or The Netherlands. I know that Konstanz is a nice city and I have a friend who lives in Augsburg in Bavaria which looks a great place - very historic.

That looks like a great castle!

Sad((( The Netherlands or Switzerland attract me very much too, but it is too expensive. I've always dreamed about Wien so it is a necessary point in our journey.)

I have been to the Rhine Valley in Germany, stayed in a lovely little place called Asmanshausen and that was gorgeous :) Steep river gorges with fairy tale castles on top. Good luck planning, one of the best parts of the year is planning your hols- but not as good as the actual trip :)

I've been to Wien a few years ago.I really liked it.
There are lots of things to visit so I think it's a good choice.
The only problem,the terrible heat.

Wien is my dream since I've watched all episodes of the "Komissar rex". It was very popular in my childhood))))
Oh, really heat? I would never think that Austria is such a hot country!X)

Well,I don't know if it's a hot country but I remember this summer was terribly hot (about 35ºC or more).Too much for me.
If you go there don't forget visiting the Schönbrunn Palace.Really beautiful!

Hot) I hope it won't be so hot in this July when we visit it.

I have been to Wien/Vienna. I loved it! I really would love to go back since I missed a lot of stuff (I was there for a study abroad program for 2 weeks, so I had classes a lot of the time, unfortunately.

oH! You are complaining about it but on the other hand I wish I could find any study programm that could provide me a visit to Austria or Germany or any other European country...

Oh...I'm not complaining about the classes. I just wish I had had more time to visit places in the city.

This program was when I was in law school. The school I traveled with wasn't my own (they were from New Orleans), but they had programs in Budapest, Moscow, Brazil, and a few other places, too.

I want to look also for any kind of job programm in Europe or USA.
