Second Verse Same as the First
Against my better judgment, I feel the need to set one or two things straight regarding Scribbles latest attempt to drudge up old fandom history. I don't know why I'm worried about it because no one believes her, or at least none of the people whose opinions I care about. Most people wanted me to let this lie, and I could wait a year or so until they change their minds, but I'm a adult and capable of making my own decisions and dealing with the consequences of those decisions.
So here goes: Dionne, Ms_Scribe, or whatever the hell her name is today, has once again lied about me, what I said, and the emails she and I exchanged in 2003. The story about how she and Clara are offline friends has been one she's stuck with through the years, but it's taken many incarnations where first, Clara broke into her computer to this most recent where they were in on things together for the LOLZ and "OMG! We didn't know there real people on the other side of the computer screen!" (Note to Dionne: You're old enough to remember the tin can phone, right? The internet on all three of your computers works essentially the same way. Type into a box, hit send, and someone (anyone really) on the other end can read it.) I don't believe any of that in the literal sense. Why? Because Clara is a figment of Dionne's imagination. How true that figment is to Dionne herself is another issue entirely. (And, by the way, Charlotte did not say Clara was real. She said she thought Infinitus was real. Guess who showed up recently in an anonymous post on Dionne's "other" LJ? How bad_penny could be the cause of this happy reunion, which occurred in a random LJ post about racism a year after the fact, is beyond me.).
But when Dionne said I'd threatened Clara with legal action, and she had reason to fear I'd contact Clara's school, she lied, plain and simple. First of all, I never initiated email contact Clara and only with Dionne after Clara fessed up. I made a post on this LJ which basically said, "I know who you are, and I'm sick of your games." The next morning, I awoke to an email from "Clara" fessing up and asking for time to tell Dionne. This is the email I sent back to her.:
Just tell me one thing, why would she do this? Honestly, we know you all don't like us, but this is horrible. Unless you give me a good reason why you all are doing this, and promise me it will stop, and I mean everything, even the gt_hidden_room, then I am outing you all tonight.
I'm sorry, but Melodysings, aka, Sarah K James, aka fermatojam seems poised to start another controversey and I want all of this to stop! Right now!
However, even if I don't post on my LJ/and or GT doesn't make a public statement, we will have to let the admins at FictionAlley and any ohter websites you are affliated with know.
And this is the first email I sent to Dionne, which she has affectionately referred to as the "WORLDS nastiest letter":

I'm not sure how Rune's IP got linked to Killiganhashope, but most likely the evidence was tampered with. David lives in England so the likelyhood of his IP tracing back to anywhere in the US in nearly impossible. Also, he is as far from a conservative Christian as you can get.

(Note before we move on: This was before we understood what fully was going on, with the sock puppets and all. We didn't come concretely to that conclusion until later when she started making other accounts. At this point, we had no reason to believe that the nanny didn't do it, though we always suspected there was more to the story than that.)
OK, so I did threaten Clara. But threatening to report her to the authorities at FA is not the same as threatening to report her to the authorities unless the mods and admins at FA have some powers I'm not aware of. I never said I'd call the police, though later I did inform her that she was breaking the law, but the word "lawsuit" never came up.
And neither of these emails is very nasty. In fact, given the circumstances, I think they are rather polite!
I could go on for, I don't know, a year or so detailing all the inconsistencies in Dionne's post, but I'll leave the rest to Charlotte.
(Last note. Comments by people not on my f-list are screened. This is not something I usually do, but in case Dionne gets wind of this, I want to be able to weed out any containing Dionne's favorite word in reference to me or others.)
Even though I know it's pointless, I just wanted to add in the text of all the emails Dionne and I exchanged. To be honest, all I have are her replies to me, so parts of what I said may be missing, particularly from the third email, but this gives a good idea of the conversation we had.

After the police complaint went to yahoo, they took it away. As far as we know, Clara made two posts over at GT, one asking who was going to Nimbus and one asking if GT had an NC17 archive. She says she wanted to find out if this person had other people there connected to him, and I believe her. I'm certain that isn't enough to launch a formal complaint against her, and quite frankly I'm angry that you would threaten to. As far as I know, this was the extent of her actions at GT.

I wasn't just reated badly, he hacked into my computer. Used it as a jumping point to hack into others. Left *.txt files all over my desktop. I never once said that GT was connected to this. In fact, I didn't post the screenshots on my LJ because of this. I posted a cryptic post similar to the one you made about me (which I would have never seen because I've never been to your LJ). I'm aware of how easy it is to manipulate those things, although the person who sent me the *.html file had no reason to do that, and for the record, it wasn't just the IP. It was the tone of his posts. As far as connection to Louis, I don't think it was so far fetched for Clara to assume he came from there. It didn't help matters that during her snooping session at GT, one of your admins actually sent him a letter expressing sympathy for all he'd been through with us. Again, I never claimed GT had any responsiblity in this. In fact, on the police report when asked if I suspected he was affiliated with any particular site I said no.

Clara is 19. She never harrassed anyone over at GT. She was spying, and she did it out of fear for me. She never sent anyone over there one single harrassing email, not one rude post, not one threat. I'm sorry to sound so hostile, but I read the email you sent her. Littletort also told us you were trying to figure out who was behind gt_hidden_room which, as far as I know, isn't connected to Clara at all with the exception that she is one of several people who RPG the empress. That, I knew before. I believe the word is Parody.
So, this the crossroads. We can either drop this or begin the flame war. Either you can accept Clara's apology which she'll post when she wakes up, or we can battle this out.
On a personal level, the fact that you would have told me about what she did, even thinking I might throw her out (which I certainly will not do) doesn't set well with me. Especially since I think you are blowing what she did way out of proportion. It's these sort of tactics, from what little I've seen of GT that give you all a bad name.
If you have information saying where she harrassed people at your LJ's or sent threats or hostile emails, please forward them to me. I'm unaware of anything of that nature. As far as I know, she logged onto GT as him, posted to questions in search of info. Then she and Sarah snooped at GT's LJ for info, which they found nothing.

Yes, she did hurt me. Mainly because she didn't trust me enough to tell me everything that happened. Also because she had access to private information and used that. But she thought she was looking out for me, and my best interest. And I believe her. I had no objection to her spying at GT's LJ. Encouraged her, in fact. Please remember that I have no reason to trust you, and pleanty of reasons not to. In spite of that, I have avoided publically linking this moron to you. I've posted my response on GT.
