As much as I hate the parking at the new library, I LOVE the architecture.  This building is stunning.  
I should have taken some pictures from the outside (and maybe some that weren't the totally OBVIOUS choices)...  maybe next time.

I spent most of my evening last night ripping out the hem of the Travel Dishcloth Skirt.

I had originally been lazy and done it on the machine.  And then I had been doubly lazy and done it with cheap thread.  And, of course, the bobbin had gotten all crabby and unhappy because I had used the cheap thread, so it threw a fit.  There was Great ( Read more... )

Monday morning and only 10 minutes late to work because of the foot of snow dumped on Minneapolis.  But a very nice Good Samaritan named Chris (apparently owns a couple of the buildings on my street) helped shovel me out... thank you Chris!

About two weeks ago I confirmed the fact that I am a knit addict.

A friend told me about a friend who was getting rid of her yarn store and had some "hand spun, organic alpaca..." for bargain basement prices.  Would I like her number?
