theater review: Brief Encounter, by Kneehigh Theater Company, at the Guthrie

100% delightful.  Surprising, innovative, theatrical.  It did those things (like Warhorse and Stones in his Pockets) that only theater can do.
It was playful and made sure the audience was a part of the experience.  It had many Brechtian elements, but were done exactly the way he would have wanted them done.  Every choice, every movement, every song
