I think it would be cheaper ($15) and easier to time the arrival to just check the suitcase. :(

ABSOLUTELY!! Knit something on pencils or chopsticks. Stick it to 'em... pun completely intended. That is totally retarded. I could maybe see how circular needles could be used as a garrot, but not straight bamboo needles.

Is it more of a hassle to purchase some in England, then ditch 'em before you leave again? I don't know how much knitting needles are.

I just don't want to see you and your luggage parted.
