I know I've been absent lately.
I blame Killer Joe (that and doing some day job work at a computer-less desk).

However, I will just let you know that things are well.

We closed today. The show was an artistic and critical success (it took a financial loss, but we have donors who believe in us, so all is going to be ok).  I am proud of the work we ( Read more... )

If you don't mind me asking, how did it take a loss? You had said the set was cheap/free, and I can't imagine the costumes were a whole lot more. I guess I'm just curious.

You and the whole company SHOULD be proud. It was a great show! :)

The expenses were just over 7 thousand.
Mostly because of rent. At $1,100 per week, that really adds up.
