So I was tossing up whether or not to go to the Supanova convention, with Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) and Morena Baccarin (Firefly) as guests. But then they both cancelled...

...And instead we get JARED PADALECKI and JEWEL STAITE as their replacements. Holy freaking squee! \O/ (Now I just gotta find someone to come with me, hmmm.)

Yeah, it's all a little odd. One day there's a bio and tentative schedule, as well as a banner on the main page... the next day it's all gone! Maybe the organisers jumped the gun in announcing his appearance before he had actually commited?

Jewel Staite = Dr. Keller on SGA. :) She's so adorable, even if Jared doesn't turn up I'll probably head along to see her. And ask if she's for Keller/Ronon or Keller/McKay. *g*

Ooh, thanks for the comm link! I've watched the movie several times (!) this week, and now I'm just filled with Shelter love. It's actually been a while since I watched a movie with a sweet, satisfying, happy ending. Oh, boys. ♥

Shelter was a really nice take on the romantic comedy genre. I hope we get more like it. And I hope we get Carina(tm)!icons too! ;)
