Wanted to say what a wonderful first novel Snowbound was! I read it in a few hours, and loved it! I was very happy that the publishers/editors didn't Americanize the vocabulary. I totally enjoy reading books w/their native language intact (ex: theatre instead of operating room; favourite versus favorite, etc). Can't wait for your next novel. Thank you so much for taking the time to write (and for taking the chance on a first-time novelist!) :-) I'm really happy you enjoyed Snowbound.
When I had the manuscript accepted by BSB I was worried that they would want to tone down its Britishness, but they were brilliant in that regard and left everything exactly as it was. Thank you again for your kind words, Cari.
