I have phoned her and told her why i wont be having anything more to do with her. She said she was sorry I misunderstood what she was saying, it was a joke

I'm so sorry that this has been upsetting. Making a call like this cannot have been easy, and it must have felt like the right thing, or indeed the only thing, to do.

I hope you find some peace now, having taken back control of this relationship. And I think you have done a brave thing. Perhaps she will think twice before making "jokes" like this to anybody else.

Thank you, it's so rare that I express anger with someone it makes me feel sick but I know I have had it with her. Apartently I've just read Chiron and Pluto is having a major effect on things, meaning that old relationships that have outgrown themselves will be discarded. I hate throwing out thing and people are much more important than any thing.

As to unfairness, did she not think about how unfair it was that she has remained in good health throughout her life while some of her friends have had to cope with debilitating illnesses?

Some people cannot see beyond themselves. You did the right thing.
