Month-Long Battles: April Poll

Hey, everyone!  It's poll time again!

As always, anyone who wishes to participate once this battle begins will be required to make one icon per episode of the show - or possibly fewer if it's a particulary long show.  That could range from 8-23 (or more) episodes depending on the show.

I don't understand the 2nd poll. Why are those five shows different from the first poll?

I ran out of space in the first poll and it wouldn't let me add more options, that's all.

The thing is, people are voting in both polls. But the first poll has 15 options and the 2nd poll has 5 options. With 15 options, the numbers are being split widely, but because there are only 5 options in the 2nd poll that is why the numbers in the second poll are so much higher. Because of this I think the results will be skewed, meaning that one of the options in the 2nd poll will almost obviously win.

For the next time, you can actually make just one poll by just adding more slots to the poll manually.

The way to do this is to start the poll with the poll creator and when you've reached the limit for the options, post the poll to your open journal entry. Then manually add in more options with < lj-pi> at the beginning and < /lj-pi> at the end of each option. This way you can have as many options as you want for the poll.

I'm not sure I understand what the problem is? It's just an aesthetic thing - it's a single poll with two sections. You can vote for as many options as you like - you don't have to vote for just one option. That's how I've always run things.
