She felt awkward, though, being here in Bakura's apartment without him. Then again, lately, she'd felt awkward even when he was around, like she'd done something horrible. She felt guilty, but she'd done nothing wrong.
As the door to the apartment opened, Miho glanced down at the wood she was polishing. It was Valentines Day, wasn't it? She'd bought Bakura a gift, though she doubted he'd like it. She'd have to go see if she could remember where she'd hidden it. Standing up, she forced a smile and looked over her shoulder, "Welcome home, Bakura-kun~!"

He walked over to her and hugged her, one-armed since she was working and his arms weren't empty.
"I bought you these," he said, holding out the flowers for her. He wished now that he'd bought some filler plants with them--ferns or baby's breath or whatever they put in bouquets. Oh, well, the color of the roses was pretty nice anyway, right? "Happy Valentine's Day, Miho-chan."

"Happy Valentines Day, Bakura-kun!" She held him in the hug for a while, not wanting to let go. "Thank you so much. I bought you something, too, but I hid it and..."
Finally pulling back, she gave him a nervous giggle. "I've got to find it again."

"You hid it? Why?" He couldn't think of many places to hide anything. Not in his apartment. And it wasn't like he routinely searched through his belongings, anyway. "Can I help?"
