Well, she'd at least been looking through the newspaper and calling places, trying to avoid buildings where she would run into people who -- perhaps didn't want to see her? Well, maybe she didn't want to see them -- well, no. She would love to see them. It was definitely the first option. She'd try to be as cordial as possible with the usually rather strained manager, often writing things down in a notebook as she heard them (and just as often putting the pen she'd just been writing with into the hurried bun her hair was up in and losing it). She'd never really liked shopping for apartments, but, she seemed to always be at it ( ... )

"A little busy," Anzu admitted, idly messing with her hair. She had a feeling it was a little crazy, but ...
"Oh. No. Of course not." She said quickly. "I was ... just coming to get a drink."

Should he tell Anzu that she had a smudge of ink on her nose? It seemed a little compared to what he actually wanted to tell her...or ask her, that was more like it. "There's all kinds of fruit juice in the fridge," he said, "iced tea if you'd like, or mineral water."
Yami adjusted the heat source as he didn't want the soup to boil that hard, and continued stirring gently. "Anzu-dear," he started, but didn't know if this was the right moment to start. "Anzu-dear, you know that you don't need to hurry to find an apartment, right? You can stay here as long as you like."
