I don't know about this movie, but it sounds dreadful.
Why would anyone include "Winn-Dixie" in the title of a movie about a dog?

the movie is based on a book by the same name, in which a girl finds a dog and chooses to name the dog after the supermarket. say what you will, but i don't think there's any marketing strategy involved.

i work at a bookstore, and know of this also.
no corporate entity here. i dont think winn-dixie has enough money to shell out for a movie, regardless.

Alright.
However, I already saw this movie, except it was called, 'Air Bud' and the dog could play basketball.
