thank you thank you! so..could you tell me how to make a simple black border? or if brushes work on a 30 day free trial? like i said, i really don't know what i'm talking about..
It's fairly easy to make a black border. You can just get your pencil tool that's hidden under the brush tool, set it to 1px, then zoom in real close, about 400% (Use Ctrl and + to zoom in, Ctrl and - to zoom out). On a new layer, get right to the very edge of your icon, and click and drag to the other end of the side. Do that on all the other sides, so you have a 1px border around your icon.
I'm not sure how well you know photoshop, so that's how I do it when I want to use a really simple border. Hope that helped. Tell me if you have any problems or anything with that =)
thanks so much! i actually sort of taught myself how to do brushes and borders, kind of think, and i'm not sure if it's the right or easiest way, but it works!
