The glare now directed at Josh would have melted a lesser man. Unfortunately, when it came from this particular woman and *was* directed at him, he melted like a lesser man. His assistant's ability to say everything while saying nothing at all never ceased to amaze him.

"Donna - " he whined, squirming under her harsh gaze. "I swear I didn't know."

A raised eyebrow now accompanied the glare on her angry - yet still incredibly beautiful - face.

Josh tried to save himself. Being the master strategist he was, he decided his best option was to throw someone else under the bus. "He's the President, Donna." Okay, maybe not the best person to sacrifice, but hey, Josh was desperate. "He's allowed to spike the spiced cider."
