It does seem to render ok for me, but a slight nitpicky but easy to implement suggestion is to replace the opening html tag with this on every page:
Adding a bottom margin of 1px makes the vertical scrollbar always appear even if the page doesnt need to be scrolled, so when you switch between pages that do/dont have scrollbars then the page doesn't jump about... ;-)
Also, dunno if it's intentional or not, but when a page is taller than height of your background image, the background image does cut off.. maybe you could either make the bottom of the background fade/gradient from black to your grey background colour, or make a centred black box the same width as your background image fill the entire height of the page behind the background image? (might be a bit fiddly, but it's entirely possible)
But yeah, on the whole it looks really nice and works well.. layout and colours are all pretty much perfect imo!
Who does your artwork btw? It's ace!

Oh, and art-man is a fella called Nathan of Industriarts (www.industriarts.com). Done a lot of work for XP8 too, which is probably how Rich heard of him. Check out the artwork for DOS (2nd album) - it's even better!!
..and I've just noticed it's the fecking great huge lead item on his homepage at present! Win!!! :)
