Accused: Tracie's Story--

Just finished watching Accused: Tracie's Story. Like, I just finished watching it. I was totally riveted throughout and the hour flew by. Sean's performance was superb and I also thought Stephen Graham supported admirably. There wasn't a bad performance in it, actually.

I loved the use of poetry. We studied Gerard Manley Hopkins for A level and I squee'd at Tracie's quoting of "No worst, there is none". Also appreciated the Wordsworth and Tennyson. The Lady of Shalott was such a perfect choice.

Great drama!

Saw it last night late and then went to bed, had dreams about it, just a few trailer-like replays.

Yes, like they said *points up* It'S kind of too bad they couldn't have convinced Sean to play a tranny like 15, 20 years ago, not like he would have and the production would probably have been a joke.

'Accused' was so deep, Marianna Trench deep. And (as much as I despise the snobbery of this word as applied to art/fashion), important. Holy crap did Sean carry it. I've never had any complaints about his abilities no matter how stupid the film but... Who knew??

Well, I can't say much more without throwing spoilers out. Like you, I was WOW-ed by the whole effect of it.

He was amazing. I was SO impressed by his performance, and the whole thing, really, but he totally knocked it out of the park.
