Hives and Sanctuary (Re)watch, Season 1--

So I woke up with hives this morning. Awesome. *sigh* They're not a regular occurrence (or at least, they aren't when I'm in Canada, sheesh), so I have no standard coping mechanism in place other than a lot of exclamations of, "What the hell?" Yay. I have no fucking idea what's caused them, and the antihistamine isn't working as fast as I'd like. I

anyways, i love the updates, i love this show and i'm glad you're posting about it! i just think it's such a good show, and amanda tapping is just an amazing actress, her portrayal is so moving.

you'd think a woman who is doing everything on a show would be phoning it in more, but instead...you feel *everything* she feels and even though most of the plotlines are lame, the overall arcs are so great, and for every 3-4 bad epis, there's an epi that blows your mind... and imo is worth the trek :)

I'm glad you pushed me to watch it, because you're totally right. Amanda Tapping is fantastic, and I almost feel like I didn't pay enough attention to her in SG-1 (even though I thought she was awesome there, she just wasn't my main focus). I am so, so glad she's starting to get the recognition she deserves. And yeah, despite the not-so-great episodes, there's lots there to recommend Sanctuary as a program.

Sorry I've not seen Sanctuary, but it seems to be popping up everywhere. I've recently seen the trailer for 'Space Milkshake' with some of the Sanctuary cast and Billy Boyd...hoping it gets a release.

Isn't that funny? I haven't seen that trailer yet, but maybe I should give it a look! It seems just as Sanctuary's been cancelled, it's suddenly getting more exposure. What a shame.

I'm afraid I never watched Sanctuary, so, yeah, *crickets*.

But UGH about the hives. Sucky at any time, and even worse when there's no particular reason (and hence way to avoid anything causing them). UGHHHH.

*snort* That's ok. I really only know one other person who watches it, that's it, but I figured, heck, I might as well post my rewatch here anyway. Who knows, maybe it'll get someone to start. *shrug*

Thanks for the sympathy! *sigh* They drove me nuts yesterday, but backed off late in the day, and are all but gone today. Oddly, I still have no idea what caused them, and spent too much of last night worried they were a reaction to something in this room, and that I was going to wake up with them flaring up all over again. So far, though, so good. Ugh. Damn hives.
