I agree with all the others, this is very powefully poignant and fitting. I especially agree with Heath's wish/assertion, of course :)

Aw, thanks! I'm so pleased you liked this, and that it worked reasonably well. As far as what happens next, well... We'll have to see. ^_~

Thanks for your lovely words! *hugs*

ouch. lately i've been rather unsympathetic to sean, but still... this part was both cutting and evocative, especially with sean in grey, cold london: Viggo fit best in exotic locales, some Pagan God of desire and debauchery framed in flowers and dirt and the seed of life and all the things that made Sean feel sick whenever he looked out his window and into his yard.

Oh, I'm so pleased you liked it! I really wanted some contrast to how Sean's feeling in how he views Viggo right now. Thank you for the very kind feedback! ^_^

Oh my... ouch! Poor Sean. I often feel like this in February, but he has more cause than most.

By all rights he should be somewhere warmer, sun and sand and sex offered up on a platter, but the forecast no longer held such decadent delights.

This is the first point at which I went, "Oh crap... what happened?" You're wonderfully subtle about this, so I'm still wondering.

perhaps then he could bury the past in a layer of white, forget it in the search for Spring.

Oooh... that's a lovely line, but it suggests a history we don't know, one that I'm now curious about. *grin* I don't suppose...

Painful and gorgeous, all at the same time. Please tell me there's more?

Hee. Oddly enough, I think I have a better idea now that I'm post-story what it was that happened.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I'm sorry it was painful, but thrilled you liked it (and that it worked that way) all the same. ^_~ As to whether or not there's more? Well... maybe. *taps side of nose* *G*

How heart-breaking! You handle the metaphor of London weather so gorgeously it made me eat up every single line with a spoon and then go reread it twice just for the joy of the words...
