However, I have been to a concert, and I know this because... despite being a non-smoker (of all kinds), my hair and clothes smell like pot. *snort* My throat is raw, and I'm exhausted beyond telling. (I fear that email will have to wait until morning, ithiliana, but I'll get it done

Sounds like a very big concert!
(Ok, this might be very boring info, but...) Actually, The Corral usually houses performances that they figure won't quite draw enough people if it were in the 'Dome (which is a stone's throw away, since they're both on the Stampede grounds), or shows that coincide with a hockey game (which the concert did). It's sort of the second biggest venue in use by the concert circuit. The Corral, at capacity, holds 6 475 people plus standing room, while the Saddledome holds 20 140. ^_^ Obviously since the stage knocks out use of a number of those seats, it's a bit less for concert setup.

So true, eh? Although it was even more surprising that S surmised the guys in front of us could be dating (they were obviously very familiar with each other) instead of assuming they're brothers or something. *G*

W00t! Do you have any idea how freaking hard it is for me to find anyone who does anything but stare at me blankly when I mention EC? ^_~ The other two, no problem, though. Everybody knows them. *G* But yep, it was a good show, and I sort of knew there'd be sound issues since the Corral has a lesser sound system, and I tell you, the cold sure gets people moving quickly, so at least that made getting in and leaving nice and fast. *G*

Yuppers, that'd be them! I've heard of Apocalyptica, but I don't think I've ever heard "I Don't Care." It's possible I have and it's just not clicking in my head, though. -_-
