Oh my, how heartbreaking :( I'm really amazed at how you managed to make 100 words so painful. Very very well done. (Incidentally, I'm listening to a song called 'Out Of Time' now)

Great use of language. The rhythm of the words and sentences (very short and clipped) mirrors the inner "cut" - underlines that everything is (or seems to be!?) lost and gone, with finality. It hurts, but the fact that it still hurts also shows it's not completely over...

So sad and so final, but beautifully done within the drabble form.

This had an abrupt quality to some of the dialogue, as though he was being told more on the phone but only certain phrases penetrated through to his conciousness...already wound up by introspection and pain...let's hope that this is not necessarily the full story.
