50 Seconds to Mars opened the show, and, well... They need to refine their sound. Very raw, very much into reverberations. And the front man, while he had a fantastic coat, seems stuck in the goth punk phase. I thought that was passe? Either way, they were cute in their "We have CDs! We'll sign them! Love us, please!" way, although at one point I turned to S and said (referencing the lead singer), "What, is he, like, seventeen?" *facepalm*

*dies* It's 30 Seconds To Mars, they're a hard-punk, goth band & the lead singer? None other than Jared Leto (of "Alexander", "Requiem For A Dream" & "Fight Club" acting fame), who is definitely well over 17 (but does like to date them...well, close enough). *points to icon* Their new CD is their 2nd. I could tell you more, but I'm sure I'd bore you. *g*

*G* Something called "Pocket Dawgs," which I've never had the pleasure of having before (although being spared the horrible spelling is something I should have been grateful for). Apparently it's a hot dog in a baguette, and the way they get the hot dog into the baguette is more than a little suggestive if you are of a bent frame of mind, which would cover all three of us. ^_^ This is in contrast to your normal hot dog, which is much more heterosexual, what with sliding the dog into the bun and all.
