Memage: Request-A-Fic--
Gacked from all over my Flist, that request-a-fic-from-the-list meme...
Ok, see, I have this great fear most of the time about not being able to reciprocate (this is one of the fears I harbour around the Holiday cards, and why I'm still struggling to get them out, months after the holidays have come and gone), which is why I usually attempt to restrain myself from asking for anything during those fic request memes. It's the whole biting off more than you can chew thing, and I have a tendency towards exactly that at times. But after a minor amount of encouragement, I've gone and requested a few from a few people, and dammit, now I'm going to try the extra step and slap it up here.
I cannot promise that these will be done in any short amount of time -- I still owe rohandove a Faramir/Boromir ficlet that's about two years overdue at this point, for instance (which doesn't mean she can't request another here, btw) -- but I'll try. *crosses fingers* *hopes* Let me assure you that while "Procrastination" is my middle name, I do eventually deliver. It's the "eventually" you have to be aware of.
Fandoms I'll write in: LotR (both FPF and RPF), Sharpe, LOST, 24, Stargate: SG-1, The Island, Highlander: The Series, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, The Phantom Menace (ok, Star Wars in general)... Actually, if you have a request for a fandom I don't have listed here, try me anyway. I'll tell you whether I'm familiar enough to do it or not.
Types of fic: While I primarily write slash, I'll write gen and het as well, so those of you on my Flist who aren't slashers but want a crack at this, I'll write you something more in line with your own interests. For those of you who ARE slashers, I'm not nailed to m/m slash, so if you want f/f, let me know. I'm good with most genres and preferences (I've written necrofic, for goodness' sake -- twice!), except for MPREG, and probably scatological play.
